Little Saigon Pho is a no-frills Vietnamese restaurant tucked away on Chapel Road in Bankstown, serving up traditional pho and other classic Vietnamese dishes with a straightforward and comforting approach. The focus here is very much on the food — particularly their rich, clear pho broths that locals come back for time and again. The standout is the Special Beef Pho Combo, where several cuts of beef come together in one bowl, appealing especially to those who appreciate the depth and variety of traditional pho.

The atmosphere inside is simple and unpretentious, with an emphasis on quick, casual dining rather than a lingering experience. It’s the kind of spot where the food takes center stage, and seating is generally functional rather than decorative. Service can be a bit busy during peak lunch hours, sometimes handled by a single staff member juggling dine-in and takeaway orders, so patience is appreciated here.

For those who might not usually opt for pho, Little Saigon Pho offers a gateway with options like the crispy skin chicken and spring rolls, plus other specialties such as the Hainan chicken and Vietnamese iced coffee that help balance out the meal. The menu also includes vermicelli noodle soups and small sides like basil and bean sprout that add freshness and texture.

The vibe suits both quick weekday lunches and low-key dinner visits, drawing a mix of local Bankstown residents who enjoy authentic Vietnamese flavours without fuss. Free tea and reasonably priced drinks like orange juice and tasty iced coffee make it a practical spot for anyone after a wholesome meal rather than a social outing.

Overall, Little Saigon Pho works best for diners who know what they want — hearty, traditional Vietnamese soups and dishes in a modest setting. It’s less about atmosphere and more about delivering consistent, generous portions of familiar flavours. If you’re in the area craving pho or looking for a no-nonsense Vietnamese meal, this place fits the bill without breaking the bank.

Our new local, and favourite eatery! Everything is delicious - particularly love the rare beef pho, the money bags, and the iced milk coffee. Staff are absolutely lovely and very friendly and helpful. Prices are super cheap for the quality and quantity of the food you get. This is our go to at least once a week.

Amazing steamed chicken ! It was moist, juicy and flavourful - perfect appetizer we all had our Phos each. The Phos were rich and tasty, not sweet, nor salty - Just right and tasty. Service was rather passive and ambience was rather gloomy, but great foods nevertheless.

I’m not a Pho person, but today I tried it here, and it absolutely made me want to come back and taste it again. Love it! The restaurant is clean, and the food is yummy! Highly recommend!

Great Vietnamese restaurant in Bankstown (south west of Sydney) offering a great range of traditional food options. The Pho (with rare beef & brisket) was absolutely delicious. The chicken rice and spring rolls were also very nice. Today (lunchtime) there only seemed to be one staff member working and she was really under the pump with a steady flow of dine in and take away orders. Somehow she managed to get everyone taken care of and there wasn’t too much delay from ordering to first mouthful of scrumptious food. Very impressive effort! Definitely worth a visit if you want good food at reasonable prices. Plenty of parking under the Little Saigon Mall too (first 3 hours free) and done in streets nearby.
